DIXONS INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS

Nothing is more challenging in our business than to maintain a long-standing partneship with our clients. This is the case of our business partnership story with Dixons South East Europe (Kotsovolos) one of the leading electrical retailers in Greece. Having started as a simple store in Athens in 1950, the chain today operates 103 stores all over Greece, employing over 2000 people. The company has also developed a rapidly growing franchise network, totaling at present 30 stores.

VETA maintains a long-lasting synergy with Dixons South East Europe (Kotsovolos). Initially the basic store equipment was manufactured by VETA. Over the years, VETA accomplished to provide further value to its business partner and began an R&D and prototyping process in order to resolve the demanding in store challenges. These issues were either product driven or digitally oriented driven.  We are grateful to work with partners that rely on our quality of our work to realize their next big idea.

The job should be finished within few weeks. The new interactive displays were expected to be attractive, ergonomic, durable, cost effective and as much interactive as possible to enhance customer experience in the respective retail shops. From the beginning, time and cost efficiency were the highly prioritized manufacturing factors.

HOW WE DID IT

A goal-driven approach for service request was applied.  The project should be completed in time and in budget.  As far as the technical requirements of the project regards, our job required great coordination and a mixture of skills, materials and technologies. To handle Dixons new request a multi-skilled team of professionals of VETA was formed with the aim to successfully design and develop the manufacturing process, choose the technologies and meet all the project needs from the project management to the implementation and installation of the display systems. Everything was completed in-house to reach time and cost efficiency.

TAILOR-MADE INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS

Customer experience was placed at the heart of the project. Today, interactive display systems enable touch interactions and enrich the way customers experience the brands.  Interactive displays create a unique marketing environment. For the DIXONS display systems case we used a mix of interactive sound and vision hardware such as monitors and touchscreens together with all the latest software applications to enhance customer in-store experience. ADDED-VALUE

Our input. In the very early stages of development, technical tips and suggestions provided by our highly experienced experts to reach project efficiency. We teamed-up with the DIXONS managing team and partners to handle every manufacturing detail and stick to the initial plan and the design guidelines as much as possible. The project team should determine the specific nature of the business managing multi-complex tasks. Estimation of the required resources and durations for the administration of individual tasks was part of our detailed plan.  Key productivity factors include the mix of technologies used, service management, flexibility, quality of project management and quality check control. We performed a range of quality checks to ensure quality of work.
