Bending of sheet metal is a crucial process in the manufacturing industry. VETA has invested in bending machinery in order to meet fabrication requirements of nowadays. There are three basic types of bending utilized by VETA, each defined by the qualities of the material and the specific forming process applied. VETA’s cutting edge technologies, innovative processes and operations in the field of press brakes, panel bender and plate roll, have resulted in maximizing our production capacity and delivery performance within in budget and on time.
VETA has a broad forming machinery portfolio in order to mix and match, the differentiated market needs and meet the manufacturing requests. To this end, our company currently runs 12 Bystronic press brakes.
A range of requirements is met using latest forming tools. Renewing the forming dies and tooling, provides efficiency and effectiveness to the process.
Bystronic CNC press brakes, have allowed VETA to offer exceptional forming capabilities including: a wide range of tooling, quick set up, high productivity, accuracy and repeatability.
Press brake machinery is often preferable for small projects that require less volume. To cater for the increased needs for precision forming (bending, pressing), Veta is equipped with 6 x 7-spindle axis CNC Press Brakes, ideal for intricate bending up to 4 meters in length.
This, combined with the special software used for press point calculations, allows performance of all calculations of cutting deployments and bending points by our company's engineers and software suites, without requiring that the customer calculating beforehand the cutting dimensions and press points, so quite often, just a sketch of the end component suffices.
Prior simulation of bends, dynamic thickness measuring by the machine, and offsetting of excessive bending, guarantees error-free forming from the very first item of the order.
VETA utilizes advanced panel bending technologies to constantly offer configure-to-order solutions. Over the years, technological progress has helped bending significantly. Bending is a procedure for forming a flat, sheet metal workpiece. It immediately follows cutting in the processing chain. The work piece lies on a bottom tool with a v-shaped opening. A wedge-shaped tool (punch) presses the work piece into the v-opening and thus bends it to the desired angle.
CNC plate rolling is a manufacturing technique that turns different kinds of metal sheet into a round, conical or even "egg" shape. The capacity of the plate rolling is depended on the sheet width, the type of material and the desired size. VETA’s plate rolling adaptive technology integrated with automatic tool changer and tool library, enable us to deal with a variety of rolling requests.
The materials that can be rolled include:

- Wear-resistant steel
Our plate rolling machinery DAV MCA 3017 - FOUR ROLL TECHNICAL FEATURES
Innovative and exclusive in design, to roll plate up to 6mm thick and 3100mm width.
Accurate, fast, easy and intuitive, it is the most high-tech plate roll for “light gauge” in the market.
ONE PHASE CYCLE
No need to pre-bend the two edges of the plate first, and then roll, as on any three roll. A cylinder can be rolled, including the pre-bending of both ends, feeding the plate forward through the rolls, one time only.
The machine is controlled, by an entry-level, user-friendly CNC, to roll parts in automatic mode.
Both clamping rolls are powered, with two independent hydraulic motors, braked hydraulically.
