THE EXQUISITE FINE WINE, CHAMPAGNE & SUSHI BAR AT RINELA BEACH HOTEL

THE REQUEST

The renovation of the restaurant at the Mitsis Rinela beach resort & spa in Creta island.

The architectural design foresees the separation of the Wine, Champagne & Sushi bar and the Theatre with light perforated elements with geometric motifs, creating a space with longitudinal symmetry.

HOW WE DID IT

Elastic Architects design team collaborated closely with our engineers aiming to successfully design and develop the manufacturing process.

Tube laser cutting was used for the construction of the dividing perforated metal pipes with simplified patterns and internal lighting in order to separate the spaces without cutting them apart, allowing the intelligent optical flow between them. 

Laser cutting and cnc bending were also used for the construction of the perforated patterns of the facade below the bar as the motifs play a leading role in the aesthetics of the space in order to create a sense of discreet luxury.
