Building up mutual confidence is one of VETA’s core values and the solid foundation stone of our corporate legacy. VETA is proud to have successfully launched the INTERSPORT new store concept. The aim of the new concept stores was to activate customer’s senses and make shopping a special experience.

ABOUT INSTERSPORT

INTERSPORT Athletics S.A, member of FOURLIS Group, is the exclusive franchisee of INTERSPORT trademark in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. In addition, it is the exclusive franchisee of The Athlete's Foot trademark for Greece and Turkey. Currently, the division operates through a network of:

• 116 INTERSPORT stores (50 in Greece, 29 in Romania, 24 in Turkey, 8 in Bulgaria and 5 in Cyprus)
• 14 The Athlete's Foot stores (12 in Greece and 2 in Turkey)
• 2 e-commerce stores in Greece, and Romania.   

CHALLENGING PROJECT

A highly challenging project that required efficient management, a cost-effective implementation and a combination of technologies and materials. VETA involved in every critical stage of the manufacturing process from the choice of technology and the definition of work tasks to the final assembling and installation of the final products.

VETA is in a position to deliver a full range of end-to-end engineering services including laser cutting, punch pressing, folding, panel and tube bending, tube laser cutting, machining, fabrication, powder coating as well as installation and assembly.

FROM DESIGN TO INSTALLATION

Our highly experienced and skilled team has been involved from the early stages in the developing of the new concept store of INTERSPORT implementing the design and construction plan in the most productive and cost effective way. Our team often suggested small changes to design details that made big improvements to manufacturing efficiency, streamlining processes to make them leaner with the aim to reduce the costs. Our services included the design, engineering, prototyping and production of the products, as well as installation and logistics.

HIGHLY-SKILLED TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED

We quickly built a team employed everyone’s input to complete the job safely, in budget and in time. A highly experienced and skilled team consisting of Account Managers, Supervisors, Sales Engineers,  Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Assembling, Logistics και Installation managers. We closely collaborated with INTERSPORT project managers and partners (architects, engineers, decorators etc) to stick to the plan and handle every aspect of the project.

READY-MADE CONSTRUCTIONS DEVELOPED IN-HOUSE

The entire manufacturing process was implemented and completed in house, including fitting and assembling. VETA applied in the project all its latest fitting and assembling technologies in order to deliver the final products in time and in budget. VETA offers in-house, an array of innovative fabrication solutions with a strong focus on precision sheet metal manufacturing, components and fabrications.

A RANGE OF MATERIALS

In developing the construction plan a wide range of materials was used such us metal, wood, Plexiglas, fabric, electronic parts and prints.

INSTALLATION SERVICES ACROSS EUROPE

Installation services is one of our many areas of expertise. VETA highly experienced installation crew carefully performed all the required installation project in all the INTERSPORT stores in over 10 cities in Greece and other European countries. A challenging project that was totally directed and coordinated by VETA’s installation managers.
