WELDING

Welding is the fabrication process that joins parts and components, usually metals, by causing fusion. As a metal subcontracting service provider, VETA has invested in different types of welding hardware and methods, depending on the nature of the requested outcome. VETA’s welding team is specialized in different welding processes and materials, to ensure optimal fabrication performance. Our welding infrastructure includes 12 manual welding stations and 4 state-of-the-art robotic welding stations.

12 MANUAL WELDING STATIONS

VETA offers alternative welding methods valued for their flexibility, always making sure that the most suitable one is used for the optimum functional and aesthetic result. We utilize powerful and modular welding equipment to increase our production performance and meet the required spec.

Typical welding methods are:

  • Tig
  • Mig
  • Stud
  • Spot welding.

4 ROBOTIC WELDING STATIONS

Robot welding, a relatively new application of robotics, is the use of mechanized programmable tools (robots), which completely automate a welding process by both performing the weld and handling the part, thus enabling the optimization of welds. Robotic welding processes are for projects that require mid- high volumesaccuracy as well as repeatability. VETA has extensively invested in the Cold Metal Transfer technology of welding. This fabrication process is as effective as conventional welding  but it far less, thermally stresses the material.
