IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  • First level support to internal users on company systems and applications
  • Training and guidance of employees in corporate IT systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of IT infrastructure
  • Maintain an internal wiki with manuals, inventory and procedures
  • Patch and upgrade systems and applications, installing fixes and new releases
  • Management & set-up of new equipment and devices
  • Interact with hardware and software vendors for provisioning, technical guides & support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT support
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware & software
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies (Active Directory, Office365, Windows 10, Windows Server)
  • Experience with networking (LAN, WAN)
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support
  • Ability to determine IT needs, keep documentation and train end-users
  • Team player with willing to learn and problem-solving attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Fulfilled military obligations, if applicable
